Chris Rowney is Lead Pastor for Teaching and Vision of Torquay Christian Fellowship, and regular contributor to the true2life video and audio podcasts.
Chris was born in the 60s and grew up in a rural city in NSW Australia, feeling called to ministry as a teenager, he began pastoral ministry in Torquay, VIC, in 2003. Prior to that Chris worked in the publishing industry, pioneering a digital prepress business with his wife in the mid1980s. He lived and studied in the US in the late 90s, (Grace Training Centre, Kansas City) and has since completed postgraduate studies in Theology in Australia. (BTh Hon and MTh at Tabor Adelaide). He pastors a growing church in the rapidly growing Surfcoast region of Victoria. Chris will read anything put in front of him, and has a love of photography, word puzzles/games, history and science, and learning and listening to live worship
